I am proud of the fact it was built by hand, in the USA. It arrived almost a month earlier than quoted which made us very happy! The craftsmanship is flat-out amazing! The bed ships unassembled, in a box on a pallet. Throughout the assembly, each piece, each fastener, each pre-drilled fitting was in exactly the right place, and the finished assembly is rock-solid. If you are considering a similar purchase, I encourage you to choose something from Solid Cherry Heirlooms.

Lee is a fantastic craftsman. The assembly looked rather daunting but was very straight forward once we got going. I’m sure these pieces will last a lifetime!

Every time I look at it, I am proud of how beautiful and tasteful it is. The construction is precise, and the design is clever. Arrives in a large crate, with many parts partially assembled. Took around 6 hours for 1 person to unpack/move/assemble. I recommend you have someone to help, and use a power tool. Both will make the process much faster and easier. Lee has been very responsive and helpful throughout. He sent very detailed assembly instructions. Also sent out a replacement guide rail I’d bent, free of charge. Very happy with this purchase; likely the last bed I’ll ever buy.
