I didn’t see 2 items in one of the reviews that I want to mention: it will take time to get it, assume 4 to 4.5 months; and be sure to consider both the slat height from the floor (given in the detailed description, which they’ll adjust if you request it) and your mattress thickness so you don’t have to climb up or jump into bed. But also consider that unless you’re using a foam mattress, today’s inner spring ones are VERY heavy, so higher slats means less lifting when making the bed. Those items aren’t negatives, I don’t have any negatives about the bed. It’s one of the most solid, well-made, high-quality pieces of furniture that I’ve ever seen, with beautiful wood and finishing. Every piece fit perfectly with the next when assembling. We’re delighted.

This bed is BEAUTIFUL. I was more than a little worried about putting it together & whether it would really be strong enough. Yesterday was bed assembly day & my husband convinced me to wait until we’d slept a night on it. It went together smoothly and it is SOLID. The workmanship is truly stellar & the wood grain is gorgeous. Highly recommend. Thank you!!

So well crafted and it helps pull our whole bedroom together. We looked for months in stores and couldn’t find anything we liked. As soon as we stumbled on Lee’s Etsy page- we knew this was it. We absolutely love our beautiful new bed and highly recommend Solid Cherry Heirlooms. Lee and Barbara were a pleasure to work with and shipping and assembly process all went very smoothly. It’s so cool to have a bed that was built just for us!
